9th Annual Short Film Competition

"Best ever" was the response from a number of the 300+ attendees who experience our September show. The seven Finalists, who were selected from 466 submissions this year, presented their films in person gave rave reviews, as well (read comments here.) Everyone who supported this effort can take credit for what we contributed to both the filmmakers and our community. It's the reason the tag line for our non-profit film society includes "Bringing the best in  .... independent filmmaking to Walnut Creek!"

Ballot Results - Previously published, but of the seven eligible films here's who won 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place "Laurels" -
1st Place "Laurels" - "The Orchestra Chuck Built"
2nd Place "Laurels" - "Man Pants"
3rd Place "Laurels" - "Little Monster"
All six remaining films received Finalist "Laurels."
All other filmmakers received Finalist "Laurels" to help promote their work at other festivals!
